One of WISE Zambia’s fundamental principles is to empower our students-scholars from rural Western Province to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. We do so through programs designed to create curiosity, (https://wisezambia.co.zm/creating-curiosity/) to encourage leisure reading, (https://wisezambia.co.zm/reading-is-fun-and-fundamental/) to expand horizons, and to foster creative thinking. These programs animated the Library of Congress’s award to WISE Zambia.
